World Human Rights Day – More Than Mere Celebrations!
The horrors of the Second World War shook the entire world! Besides thousands of precious lives lost, the world witnessed perhaps the most gruesome violation of human rights during the time. In a way the war was a wake up call for the entire world. In 1945, the founding member nations of the then newly formed United Nations came together to draft many radical laws to protect and promote the basic human rights of its citizens.
World Tourism Day – Challenges Galore! The first half of 2009 has been sordid thanks to the invasion of the recession, terrorism and new health concerns that have left many key industries across India and the rest of the world in a lurch. The ghosts of 2008 just refuse to die down and continue to haunt the world economies! While the global tourism industry and the Indian tourism industry in particular is no exception to this, experts see this as an opportunity in crisis. The key lies in identifying the problems, fixing them and this is just the right time to do it!

Chinese Restaurants in Every City in AmericaMany in China wish to extend Chinese Culture and create a better understanding in our Global Society because they feel that their nation is somewhat misunderstood. They also realize that it important for them to have a respected country as they grow into their World Power position. This makes sense, and yet, Chinese Culture is known throughout the world already.
World AIDS Day – Stop AIDS – Keep the PromiseToday, it is a globally accepted fact that the keys to the prevention of HIV/AIDS not only depends on advanced treatment and care but equally on spreading improved awareness on the disease, dispel the myths surrounding it, stringent laws for the removal of discrimination and social stigmas that make some groups more vulnerable to HIV/AIDS, and coordinated efforts and sharing of knowledge. And to reiterate this commitment, the World AIDS Day is observed every year on December 1.
Is Taiwan’s Safety Guaranteed by the USA?Many in China wish to see the re-unification of Taiwan, and most in the upper echelon of power believe that Taiwan is rightfully part of China and should be a province of Mainland China. Some university researchers believe that Taiwan is safe for now because of her military deals with the United States and say; “Taiwan, can conduct such a life because her safety is guaranteed by the US.” To this point I would say that Taiwan’s safety, just like China’s safety is guaranteed by the world, just like the US’s safety is guaranteed by the world.
Should China Focus More on a Western Civilization Win Win When Dealing With the US?The economic growth in China has not been appreciated elsewhere in the world, because China has been too busy looking after itself and this has caused some problems in the Global Marketplace. China does what’s best for China, no one else. That is fine, but China could just as easily figure out ways to help them and still help everyone else in the process.
What Does China Need to Move Forward As a World PowerMany of China’s top thinkers have been trying to figure out how to get China over her growing pains, as she climbs up in the ranks of World Power eventually perhaps, attaining Super Power Status like the United States. There is great debate over such discussions. And some in the US believe that the reason China is not working right now is that their country has learned much from Western Culture, except the value of “Win-Win” negotiations.

He has worked to change their constitution allowing for no term limits, thus giving him almost the status of a king.
Is China Testing Biological Weapons in Their Rural Provinces?Just when you thought you’ve heard all the conspiracy theories in the world, another one pops up even more intriguing than the last. It is as if you are reading a Tom Clancy Novel sometimes, and interestingly enough, often, the real world can be better than a novel. Seriously, it would be hard to make that kind of stuff up.
